Nike Pays Tribute to Sandy Bodecker with the Nike SB Dunk Low Raygun Tie-Dye

Nike SB Dunk Low Raygun Tie-Dye

The NIKE SB DUNK LOW PRO RAYGUN finds the classic Raygun Dunk returning in two new revised editions, released as a tribute and mark of respect to the sorely-missed Sandy Bodecker.

Anyone who was on the scene back in 2002 may recall when Nike dropped the debut SB series, with four pro model Dunks that had been re-engineered with padded tongues, extra cushioning and new materials. Richard Mulder, Reese Forbes, Gino Iannucci and Danny Supasirirat (AKA Danny Supa) were the recipients of these shoes, and each colourway cemented itself in the history books. The man who was instrumental in the success of the SB series was Sandy Bodecker – and it was he who formulated many of the early iconic collaboration releases, such as the Supreme Dunks, the City Series from 2005 and many other editions and colourways that have since gained legendary status. Sandy passed away in 2018, leaving an immeasurable legacy and body of work. In honour of his creative genius, Nike has picked the classic Raygun colourway from 2005 and given it a new lease of life with an updated tie-dye application. There are two editions dropping: the black version and a more-limited white edition, which will be sold exclusively at skate shops.

Both colourways of the NIKE SB DUNK LOW PRO RAYGUN are AVAILABLE NOW: click the banners below to purchase each respective colourway today.
