NIKE MAG POWER LACES – COMING IN 2015

The NIKE MAG is undoubtedly one of the most revered pieces of footwear ever created.

Well, we say ‘created’, but they’ve never really existed in their true form… until now! We’re jumping the gun a bit, because they’re not actually due out until later in 2015, but the NIKE MAG POWER LACES from ‘Back to the Future II’ are coming!

The charity auction in 2011 for the regular laced Nike MAG raised millions for Michael J Fox Parkinson’s Foundation – those shoes had lighting but no power laces – but since then we’ve all been wondering if Nike would follow up their patent application for Automatic Lacing that they filed back in 2009.

Tinker Hatfield, the original designer of the Nike MAG, announced on the stage at the #AgendaEmerge event that this is the year we will see them for real. Keep checking back here for updates as we receive them!
