The NIKE X CLOT X FRAGMENT AIR FORCE 1 BLACK SILK displays regal styling and contemporary detailing on the much-loved low-top, courtesy of two of the most respected labels in the industry.

What can anyone say about the Air Force 1 that would really do it any justice? Bruce Kilgore’s design from 1982 undoubtedly changed the way the world looked at footwear, due to its simple, clean styling which has remained truly timeless. This new edition finds Nike joining up with Hiroshi Fujiwara’s Fragment label and Edison Chen’s streetwear label CLOT for a very slick ménage à trois. There’s a Royal Blue edition already on the horizon, but this latest reveal shows the shoe in a much darker make-up. Swooshes, tongues, and leather linings all get fully-dipped in black, with monogram-styled details woven into the upper material. As you might expect, things get rounded off in classic style: white midsoles and gum outsoles ensure that this is a no-brainer when it comes to purchasing decisions. Rumoured to be a highly limited Japan-exclusive release, we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed for a wider drop to follow…

The NIKE X CLOT X FRAGMENT AIR FORCE 1 BLACK SILK is scheduled to release on FRIDAY 29 NOVEMBER: keep checking back for news on any subsequent drops. In the meantime, click the banner below to check the latest releases at NIKE.
