The NIKE AIR PRESTO GPX OLYMPIC marks the return of a classic and much-loved Presto colourway from the archives.
Older heads may recall the original Olympic Presto release from 2000, which was created for the USA team in the Sydney Olympics. A surprise drop at the time, it became one of the most talked-about colourways, as it was one of the first special edition Prestos, with special embroidery on the tongue and a geometric print around the front of the shoe. For years, the original shoe has grown in popularity to become a collector’s item, so this new, updated edition will please many fans out there. The updates are minimal: the geometric shapes have been reduced to two layers (instead of three on the original) and the overall background colour is a solid grey instead of the slightly-purple hue on the 2000 release. The cage is less translucent as well, which works well with the overall appearance. The OG was one of the best colourways of the Presto, so this new updated version is a no-brainer.
The NIKE AIR PRESTO GPX OLYMPIC will be available on THURSDAY 7 JULY. Keep checking back for the full release info: in the meantime, you can check the current Presto selection at Nike by clicking the banner below.
