The NIKE AIR ODYSSEY OG RED takes on a familiar look by borrowing the iconic original colourway of the Air Max 1.
When you think about the Air Max 1, chances are that the OG combination of White, University Red and Neutral Grey is one of the colourways that comes to mind first, as it’s one of the most iconic combinations of all time. With that in mind, NIKE have now chosen to utilise that same colourway on the AIR ODYSSEY, which also released in 1987. A clean white mesh base rests underneath Neutral Grey suede overlays, whilst the pop of University Red features on the toe wrap, heel and Swoosh. Down below, the midsole is finished in a mix of white and grey, whilst a black outsole, with a hit of red at the toe, rounds things off. There have always been distinct similarities between the Air Max 1 and the AIR ODYSSEY, so it’s no real surprise the latter looks great in the former’s original colourway.
The NIKE AIR ODYSSEY OG RED has started to drop in the US already, so expect to see them arrive here soon, and when the time comes they will be available, along with other ODYSSEY releases via the banner below.
