This edition of the NIKE AIR MORE UPTEMPO was first seen on the feet of Scottie Pippen as he was part of the USA Dream Team in the 1996 Olympics.
It was this team, which also featured the likes of Shaquille O’Neal and Penny Hardaway, that took home the gold medal at the Olympic games in Atlanta. With the model’s successful return earlier this year, and the fact that this is another Olympic year, it makes perfect sense that this colourway would also make a comeback. The predominantly Navy Blue upper and sole unit is punctuated by the over-sized Air branding along the side, which is finished in solid White, to create a boldly contrasting colourway. As a finishing touch, the Swoosh on the tongue is shown in Red, cementing the patriotic feel.
