A Closer Look at the Nike Air Max 97 Purple Bullet

The NIKE AIR MAX 97 PURPLE BULLET continues the legacy of one of the greatest members of the Air Max family. Christian Tresser’s futuristic design for the Air Max 97 came from studying the lines and angles on mountain bike frames, with the final design showing a unique combination of contours and curves to convey a true sense of momentum. The 97 is largely known for its initial silver edition, commonly referred to as the Silver Bullet, and this update adds a tasteful tone of purple to the proceedings. Silver leather panels feature across the upper and surround the purple reflective streak that circumnavigates the shoe. Appropriate matching details come in the form of purple branding, a smart black lining, and the purple Air bag concealed within the midsole.
