The NIKE AIR MAX 95 ULTRA NEON gets a sleek and modernised look for its 20th anniversary, this time in a very familiar colourway.
The wavy upper, with its gradient style remains, but designer Dylan Raasch has given it a sleeker feel by utilising Hyperfuse technology over a mesh base. For this release, the original colourway, made up of black and shades of grey, is flipped upside-down so that it goes from dark at the top down to light on the bottom. The iconic pops of Volt on the lace stay straps and branding remain to give the shoe a touch more familiarity. Underneath, the white midsole continues the flipped colourway, but arguably the stand-out change is the fact that the original multi-bubbled design has been switched out for the sleeker 180 Air Bubble, which pops out here in a Volt colourway. Sometimes changing a classic isn’t the right way to go, but this time the results speak for themselves.
