The NIKE AIR MAX 90 ULTRA MOIRE OUSADIA ALEGRIA brings the styling of Neymar Jr.’s latest football boots to the streets.
Neymar’s has a real affinity for AIR MAX models, so NIKE decided to utilise the graphics from his latest boots on an AIR MAX 90 ULTRA MOIRE. The graphic, created by renowned Brazilian artist Bruno Carneiro Mosciaro, better known as Bruno Big, dominates the tonal black upper, and is contrasted by hits of orange on the lining and tongue label. The orange continues on to the insoles, that feature the words OUSADIA (Portuguese for boldness) and ALEGRIA (Portuguese for happiness), which are represented by custom fist and heart graphics respectively. The upper sits on a matching black midsole and carved-out Phylon outsole, for a relatively stealthy look, whilst a reflective finish on the mudguard adds a touch of flashiness. The uppers remind us a little of the work by London-based INSA, especially the Continental he painted a few years ago, which is definitely not a bad thing in our eyes.
The NIKE AIR MAX 90 ULTRA MOIRE OUSADIA ALEGRIA is scheduled to drop on TUESDAY 2 FEBRUARY and will be available via the banner below.
