As if the flood of releases throughout 2012 wasn’t enough to satisfy our hunger for Jordan Brand, it would appear that we’re being sucked back in again in 2013, as rumours have emerged of a reissue of the Air Jordan III Cement colourway, with the welcome return of the original Nike Air branding on the heel.

Coined the ’88, in obvious reference to its year of origin, the return of the original Nike Air branding on the heel could well open the reissue gates for a wealth of original colourways of the III, IV, V and VI – the last model to feature the iconic logo. This will no doubt cause a stir with collectors both old and new, due to the short time since the last batch of reissues but nonetheless, these are sure to keep the engine of the Hype Train well and truly stoked.

As there only appears to be one image of the rebranded IIIs doing the rounds at the moment (courtesy of Tee_Leo) there’s not really much more for us to report at this time, but as soon as we hear more, we’ll be sure to post it up so don’t forget to follow us on TWITTER, FACEBOOK and INSTAGRAM to stay up to date.
