On March 28th, it will be 20 years to the day since Michael Jordan returned to the basketball court (after a short stint in minor league baseball) and put up fifty-five points against the Knicks (hence the ‘Double Nickel’ moniker). To celebrate this, JORDAN BRAND are reissuing the colourway of the AIR JORDAN 10 that he wore on the day.
The upper combines white tumbled and smooth leather contrasted by black tumbled leather around the laces and tongue, with black covering most of the sole to keep things consistent. Adding some pop are the hits of True Red on the lining, outsole and the embroidered 45 on the lateral side, Jordan’s chosen number for his second go-around with the Bulls.
If you want to be like Mike, you can pick up a pair of the NIKE AIR JORDAN 10 DOUBLE NICKEL on SATURDAY 28 MARCH. As always, we’ll have all the info you need up on our RELEASE PAGE
