Big news Jordan fans: the NIKE AIR JORDAN 1 HIGH 85 METALLIC RED is supposedly making a return in 2024. The Air Jordan 1 High was originally designed by the late Peter Moore, who was also the mastermind behind the also-timeless Nike Dunk. The first of many signature Jumpman models dropped in 1985, this Metallic Red makeup was part of the original lineup but didn’t hit shelves until the year after. Now, decades later, these classic J’s are expected to return in their OG shape, featuring a white leather upper with Metallic Red detailing on the Swoosh, collar, and Wings logo. Other details include the red “Nike Air” branding on the tongues, completed by a white midsole and red rubber outsole. The Air Jordan 1 High ’85 “Metallic Red is rumoured to be released during the Spring 2024 season so there’s quite a wait but for now, sit tight and stay tuned for further updates. In the meantime, check out images of the original drop here to get a better idea of what to expect from this upcoming release.
