The NIKE AIR FLIGHT HUARACHE LOW BOLD BERRY sees the shoe made famous by Michigan’s Fab Five given a streamlined update.
The Fab Five was the nickname for the 1991 University of Michigan men’s basketball team recruiting class, which is considered by many to be ‘the greatest class ever recruited’. One of the shoes worn on-court by the Fab Five was the NIKE AIR FLIGHT HUARACHE in the combination of White, Lyon Blue and Bold Berry, and we now see the colourway make a return, but with a slight twist. Although the colourway stays relatively true to the original, the model has been updated with a lower cut silhouette, which gives the colourway a different look, predominantly due to the reduction in black panels. To continue the updated look the original choice of an all-White sole unit has been replaced with the combination of a White midsole and icy outsole. Sometimes we think that iconic silhouettes shouldn’t really be messed with, but this new silhouette works really well and looks great in this original colourway.
The NIKE AIR FLIGHT HUARACHE LOW BOLD BERRY is scheduled for release soon, so make sure to keep checking back with us for updates. In the mean time you can check out what NIKE currently have to offer via the banner below.
