The NEW BALANCE x STANCE 997 & 1978 pack celebrates the ‘Art of the Kit’, featuring the artwork of two artists from opposing sides of the US: Matthew Zaremba and Mark Oblow.
Stance Socks and New Balance have combined forces to present a two-shoe collaboration featuring the classic 997 and the new 1978. Inspired by their environment and surroundings, the 997 takes inspiration from Boston’s traditional brick buildings and brownstone architecture, while the 1978 reflects the sand and ocean of San Clemente, California. Constructed in premium materials, the two models features pigskin suede uppers and come complete with matching Stance socks with stripes and multicoloured speckles. This first installment in an ongoing series is entitled the ‘First of All’ pack: watch for more collaborations from Stance and New Balance throughout the rest of the year.
