The NEW BALANCE M1500NO & M1500WR finds one of the most-wanted New Balance models making a strong return to the shelves, in two classic 1500 colourways. To say that we’re excited is an understatement…
The 1500 was originally launched as a top tier running shoe, way back in 1989. Designed by the legendary Steven Smith (who is responsible for many of our favourite shoes from New Balance, Reebok, Nike and adidas), the 1500 has stood the test of time and is one of the most recognisable New Balance shoes. The 1500NO and 1500WR are perhaps two of most highly-sought colourways, commanding extremely high prices on the grey market: the combinations of Blue/Orange on the M1500NO and Black/Red on the M1500WR look as good today as they first did when they first dropped.
Made in the Flimby factory in England’s Lake District, the premium nubuck construction features leather detailing throughout. The durable and tactile mesh looks as good as ever, with the trademark ENCAP midsole underneath and to satisfy the purists, there’s even a gum outsole on the M1500NO. We’ve been waiting for these to return – and we certainly aren’t disappointed.
The NEW BALANCE M1500NO & M1500WR launch on FRIDAY 1 JULY, at various retailers including HANON. Keep checking back for the full release details: in the meantime, you can check out the latest footwear at HANON by clicking the banner below.
