Stand Out with the New Balance 1500 Made in England

The NEW BALANCE 1500 MADE IN ENGLAND dips its toe into logo mania with an all-over print rework…

New Balance recently revealed their latest SS19 pack, in which we saw the best of the British-Made designs transformed in luxury fabrications and fresh colour palettes. This time around, the beloved M1500 appears as we’ve never seen it before, flaunting an all-over print that pays homage to the Flimby factory’s Made in England line. The upper mixes grey suede and mesh against white leather panels, with the flurry of logos appearing in navy. The print nods to the history of the Made in England division dating back to 1906 but also works in a few more recent New Balance logos. Fine details, such as the embroidery on the tongue, heel, and the signature “N” patch logo blend into the patterned upper; resulting in a busy yet composed addition to the 1989 running model’s arsenal.
