LACOSTE X HANON WYTHAM – ON COURT & OFF COURT – 3.5.14

The LACOSTE X HANON WYTHAM unites the classic French reptilian sportswear brand with Scottish legendary retailers Hanon, presenting two variations of their classic Wytham court shoe.

First up, there’s a clean, tennis style edition (appropriately entitled the ‘ON COURT’) which comes in a very smart white/off white/green and red colourway: the perfect echo of the Lacoste brand colours. The alternative colourway (that’ll be the ‘OFF COURT’ edition then) is more reminiscent of a hiking shoe in terms of colouring: the tobacco brown is a popular colour and is offset perfectly with the dark red of the collar section. The upper is a mix of plush tumbled leather offset by suede overlays and a stitched moulded cup sole. There’s some ‘croc tooth’ detailing on the heel counter and a crocodilian scale pattern on the outsole. Dual branding features include a bespoke bar tacked leather tongue patch and top screen joint logo in-sock. Each pair will come with a collaborative dust bag and two sets of laces.
