The KARHU ARIA LEGEND OG sees the return of the brand’s iconic ’90s runner in its OG colourway, 20 years after its initial release.
The Finnish brand can trace its history all the way back to 1916 and has an authentic heritage in running and a deep connection to the outdoors. The brand follows the principles of simple design and running purity by providing technical running and outdoor gear. Their shoes have been worn by some of the country’s greatest runners including Olavi Suomalainen and Paavo Numri, who gave rise to the term Flying Finns.
Back when it first released, the ARIA featured two technological innovations – the Fulcrum midsole and mono tongue upper construction, both of which were iconic technological developments for the ’90s era. To give the Fulcrum component an extra touch, a carbon fiber plate was added, which provided extra support. The OG colourway sports an grey suede and mesh upper, with pops of purple thrown into the mix. A fuchsia pink neoprene sockliner adds more colour, whilst black details balance things out nicely.
The KARHU ARIA LEGEND OG is scheduled to drop on SATURDAY 20 JUNE at select retailers. Check back with us closer to the time for updates and a link to help you secure your pair.
