HUCK PRESENTS… HOW MANY VANS MAKE YOU HAPPY?: a short film with Vans super-collector Henry Davies.

Finding someone who has a big stash of Air Max 90s or Puma States isn’t that difficult, but uncovering a Vans goldmine like this takes a bit more effort. There are parallels with collecting vintage skateboard decks: as Henry says himself, a lot of the early (and more desirable) models were destroyed through being skated in, so finding deadstock examples can be tricky. Henry’s collection is showcased in his shop, The Other Side of the Pillow, which can be found in Clapton, East London. For anyone interested in something a little different, it looks like it’s well worth a visit.
