Amsterdam-based FILLING PIECES have built a reputation of creating footwear with an unusual mix of quality materials – and their third and final drop for SS15 continues the tradition…
The collection consists of the silhouettes we have come to know, including the LOW TOP, LOW TOP TRANSFORMED, MID TOP and MOUNTAIN CUT in a mix of materials and colours. Some of the innovative materials we have seen before in previous drops, such as the pleated leather, but there’s also a host of new ones, including pyramid debossed leather, salmon woven leather, Surinam textiles and woven reed, to name just a few. The Surinam textile is a one-of-a-kind embroidered carpet fabric, originating from the South American country that is the motherland of FILLING PIECES founder GUILLAUME PHILIBERT. We’re impressed by the brand’s vision and willingness to push boundaries: the results speak for themselves.
Some of the pieces from the FILLING PIECES SS15 LOOKBOOK are available now from END; which you can link to using the banner below.
