As the year draws to a close, CLOT is rejoining forces with the Three Stripes to deliver a Lunar New Year special of the adidas Superstar.

Paying homage to the Year of the Snake, the sleek design offers a stylish way to honour the new year, whilst showcasing the design artistry that Edison Chen’s CLOT excels in. 

A Closer Look at the Edison Chen x CLOT x adidas Superstar (JR5114)…

Honouring the animal of the moment, the construction displays a textural snake-skin finish across the iconic 3-Stripes. Beneath it, lies a luxe suede textile that floods the upper, decorated with subtle but visible intricacies that portray snake and zodiac motifs. Commemorating the special occasion, gold star embroidery decorate the side walls and heel, whilst gold foil iconography takes centre stage on the tongue. Additionally, a red and gold ornamental charm sits on the laces, further affirming the annual event. 

Looking to the lower, a thick, spiky outsole brings a unique flair to the silhouette, elevating your look stylistically (and literally!). Rounding off a solid iteration for this year’s Lunar New Year, it’s safe to say that Chen has done it again.
