DIADORA B ELITE

Diadora’s Heritage line are masters of keeping it classy, and the latest drop of the DIADORA B ELITE is no exception.  As all-conquering Tennis Ace Bjorn Borg’s signature shoe, the Borg Elite was the Air Jordan of the Racketsport world in the early eighties – the classic design, luxury Kangaroo leather and high price point saw these quickly become a trump card in the trainer one-upmanship stakes, and they quickly crossed over into the casual scene where they became a definitive status symbol on the terraces.

Fast forward to 2013, and the shoe has lost the signature of Mr Borg, hence the name change to B Elite, and there’s no sign of the Kangaroo leather, but they haven’t lost their history, class or cult appeal.  These make ups stay clean and subtle in white leather with navy (a pro-range colourway Borg wore at Wimbledon) and a tonal grey nubuck with navy leather split-stripe.

At a decent price point, these takes on the classic Borg Elite should find some new fans as well as satisfying some old ones. The DIADORA B ELITE in the Grey Nubuck and the White Leather make-ups are available now and can be found by clicking the link below, and the White leather version with the gum outsole are also on point too.
