Burton x New Balance Collection – Release Info

The BURTON X NEW BALANCE COLLECTION has you covered whether you’re up in the mountains or just walking the streets.

As you might expect, considering the brands involved, the collaborative pack is designed for being outdoors in the coming winter sports season. The collection is based around the 710, with two new iterations – the HRL710 and the HVL710 – the first of which is designed for outdoor hiking and heavy use, whilst the other is styled for the streets. The 710 has a rich history, as not only was it the brand’s first hiking shoe, but it was also worn by the first American team to ascend the North Wall of Mount Everest. The HRL710 pays homage to this history, with a BURTON twist, which results in a woven textile base resting under navy pig skin suede, all rounded off by a white sole unit. The HVL710 comes in two colourways, with the first combining grey and black, whilst the other goes with tan, navy and hits of burgundy. As this is a collaboration with BURTON, the collection wouldn’t really be complete without snowboard boots. To answer the call, there are three colourways in this style, that match each of the trainers, to choose from. Every year, there are more and more options available when it comes to winterised trainers, but these have to be up there with the best of them.

The BURTON X NEW BALANCE COLLECTION drops first on the BURTON website on SATURDAY 24 OCTOBER. Keep checking back with us for updates on a wider release.
