The adidas x Gonz Superstar ADV Returns this Weekend

Extending what is arguably the longest-standing sport-skate crossover link-up, the ADIDAS X GONZ SUPERSTAR ADV provides a follow-up to the 2020 release. Relations between the 3-Stripes and skateboarding transcendent slash artist Mark Gonzales can be traced back to as early as ’98 when Gonz rocked a pair of adiStar Fencing shoes for his performance at the Städtisches Museum in Abteiberg, Germany. Over 20 years later, the second instalment of another bold silhouette is here, with this all-black style boasting a premium tumbled leather upper. Perforated details replace the iconic side-stripes to make way for contrast embroidered patches of Gonz’ Schmoo figure with branding details removed from the heels leaving debossed Trefoil tongue tags to cap off each shoe.
