adidas are, to borrow a topical sporting term, on a power play right now when it comes to raiding the archives for vintage pieces to reissue. The Equipment line was resurrected with the utmost care in the OG colours and the next move in the Brand with the Three Stripes’ bring-back crusade is the ADIDAS CONSORTIUM EQT RUNNING SUPPORT 93 WHITE PACK.

In addition to the first two OG releases we got a nice red and grey Consortium release last weekend, but the decision to white out the Support and drop sparse hits of EQT colours here and there gives this retro running project a whole new dimension. That technical upper gets wrapped up in crisp white leather, with mesh on the toebox and some off-white suede underlays. There are three colours choices here: royal blue, black and sub green. They’ve applied these to the heel tab and collar, the lacelock and the midsole. You could be forgiven for thinking this a simple design choice when in reality adidas have worked hard to get the very best out of a faithful reissue of a superb original shoe.
