24 Kilates x Reebok LX8500 Bangkok – A First Look

The 24 KILATES X REEBOK LX8500 BANGKOK pays a colourful homage to the city that is home to the store’s second location.

24 KILATES opened their first store in Barcelona, Spain, in 2005 and as part of their 10th anniversary celebrations they decided to open a store in BANGKOK, Thailand. A few months later and they are collaborating with REEBOK on an LX8500 that pays homage to the colourful and vibrant city. If you have ever been there you will have seen huge numbers of Tuk Tuks, which are three-wheeled vehicles that are often used as Taxis, and it is these often boldly coloured vehicles that inspire this release. The upper is dominated by royal blue, in a mixture of suede and mesh, with hits of yellow, red and lime green thrown into the mix to add some serious pop. Additional details include gold dubrais, cartoon Tuk Tuk on the 24 KILATES branded tongue labels, embroidered 24 KILATES branding, written int Thai, on the heels and branded laces. Down below is a contrasting white midsole, with coloured detailing and a red outsole tying the colourway together. These definitely don’t follow the current trend of subtle, even monochromatic, collaborations and that’s one of the things we like about them.

The 24 KILATES X REEBOK LX8500 BANGKOK is scheduled for release soon, so make sure to keep checking back with us for updates.
