The Thunders AW16 Collection is going down a storm

The THUNDERS AW16 COLLECTION is the latest project from provocative UK fashion/art/surrealism veteran Barnzley.

Barnzley has had his fingers in many a fashion pie since his early days as an original member of the International Stüssy Tribe: he’s been involved with everyone from Stüssy to Zoltar (remember the golden machine guns?) via i-D, House33 and A Child of the Jago, and that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Spawned from the East London store of the same name, the Thunders clothing line comprises a strong selection of printed sweats and t-shirts with graphics that pay homage to iconic cultural touchpoints of the past. Symbolism from the Black Panthers and the Industrial Workers of the World lends a general theme of anarchy to the collection, while elsewhere we’re treated to a resurrection of the famous iron-on felt lettering that adorned many a b-boy jacket from the dawn of hip-hop.
