German sportswear giants adidas have linked up with Japanese pouch gurus PORTER on a collaborative collection that unites both brands through a focus on each others trademark design details. As a result, this meeting of minds has produced a distinctly desirable collection of accessories and footwear that will please fans of both brands, adhering to the spirit of collaboration in its purest form by combining their proudest aspects to create a new expression of classic designs.

Central to the collection are two luggage options; the first is the iconic 3Way briefcase, a perennial PORTER piece which was originally inspired by the MA-1 flight jacket. This uniquely versatile accessory can be used either as a classic briefcase, or by adding exterior straps, adapted into a backpack or shoulder bag, depending on your inclination. The second luggage option is the 2Way Boston duffle bag, an equally resourceful accessory that provides a multitude of compartments, pockets and pouches. Both bags are constructed from PORTER’s archetypal nylon padded fabric, while the interior to both pieces yield yet more delicate collaborative touches. The regular zipper tape on the 3Way briefcase is swapped out for a subtle 3-stripes branding motif, while the traditional emergency orange lining is replaced with adidas’ iconic blue colourway. Last but by no means least, the collection is completed by the addition of an exclusive take on the classic adidas Campus silhouette. In line with the colourways and materials used on the bag, the predominantly black shoe features hits of orange on the serrated 3-stripes marks and embossed logo applications on the heel counter. Constructed from premium nubuck across the quarter, this is countered with a toebox and tongue made from PORTER’s signature ‘Tanker’ fabric, and finished with a tonal black rubber sole.
