The SUPREME X THRASHER SS17 COLLECTION will have your girl leaving you for a man called ‘Ollie’.
It’s a well known fact that both Supreme and Thrasher come from a background of skateboarding and try to keep it at their core, but there’s certainly no denying that they have both have grown bigger than just skateboarding. With at least 96% of non-skateboarding teenagers in 2017 owning at least one item from the respective brands (source: Instagram) they are both now household names and arguably the top dogs in ‘streetwear’.
With that being said, yet again the pair have teamed up on a collaboration which you could perhaps suggest ‘pokes fun’ at the consumers themselves. Making use of a previous Thrasher pop-art style graphic along with a repeated version of their infamous “SKATE AND DESTROY” slogan decorating the back of a garment is perhaps the ultimate eff you to all those kids who line up week in, week out for the beloved box logo brand. Of course neither brand are strangers to disrespecting their customers though, with Thrasher Editor Jake Phelps making it publicly clear that Thrasher is “for skaters” and well, as for Supreme they just bang a box logo on seemingly anything knowing it will sell out instantly and they can sit in their SoHo office shooting stacks from their very own Cash Cannon. The 6 piece collection consists of a poplin Crew Jacket, Hooded Zip Up Jacket, Short Sleeve Shirt, Pant, Hooded Sweatshirt and short sleeve T-Shirt.
The SUPREME X THRASHER SS17 COLLECTION releases THURSDAY 8 JUNE exclusively from SUPREME both online and in store. Check out the collection below and in the mean time why not grab some new Thrasher garms via the banner.
