Streetwear takes a closer look at sexual and gender fluidity this week with the SUPREME X NAN GOLDIN COLLAB CAPSULE.
Supreme calls on the renowned American photographer Nan Goldin for its latest collaboration. Nan Goldin found her calling at the tender age of 14 during the late ’70s and would see her work presented in nightclubs, with her earliest images focused on her drag-queen friends in bars and nightclubs. Her work is cited as a study of the bohemian cultures of Boston, and Supreme yet again bring forth an offering that’s both culturally rich and important for the conversations being had regarding sexuality and gender in this generation. The collection uses Goldin’s work in the form of photographic prints applied to three tees, a hooded sweatshirt, a coach jacket and three skateboards.
The SUPREME X NAN GOLDIN COLLAB CAPSULE will be available online and in store with Supreme this THURSDAY 29 MARCH. Take a closer look below, and hit the banners to shop the drop once it goes live.
