The SUPREME X ANDRES SERRANO COLLAB is about to drop, but don’t wear it when you visit your nan.
Supreme has never been a brand to keep things safe, but a collab that mixes religion and bodily fluids is a pretty bold move even for the downtown NYC skate provocateurs. It’s cool though, if anyone gets offended you can explain that it’s art. The images used across the range of hoodies, sweatpants and tees comes courtesy of artist and photographer Andres Serrano, who’s spent his career bothering God-botherers since casting off his strict Roman Catholic upbringing. The pieces in question are entitled ‘Piss Christ’, ‘Madonna and Child II’ and ‘Blood and Semen II’, and they pretty much do what they say on the tin (though we’re glad there’s no tins of this stuff available). The first two pieces appear as photographic tees and hoodies, while the ‘Blood and Semen’ pattern gets splashed (sorry) all over a matching set of hoodies and sweatpants – plus three classic Vans models if you’re really going for the head-to-toe look.
And if you’re not into art, religion, or bodily fluids, don’t worry, there’s a box logo on the back still.
Take a look at the SUPREME X ANDRES SERRANO COLLAB below, check out the matching footwear here, and hit the banner to shop the collab once it goes live at 11:00AM this THURSDAY 21 SEPTEMBER.
