Today saw the first drop of the SUPREME FW17 COLLECTION, and we went down to the London store to take a look at the madness…
As expected, London’s most commited red rectangle fans were out in full force to turn the Soho streets into a peacocking catwalk that made fashion week look a bit reserved by comparison. Since the Louis Vuitton collab ratcheted up the hype levels, demand has only increased for anything emblazoned with the infamous box logo – and judging by the high-end labels on display, it seems the brand’s fanbase have happily embraced Supreme’s flirtation with high fashion. Eager customers queuing for their latest fix were draped in rare Supreme grails teamed with pieces from the likes of Off-White, Goyard, Vetements and more, with many immediately donning their latest pick-ups including the Nas tee, the ‘Blood and Semen’ deck and even the new collapsible shovel. The footwear on show was just as covetable, with a rare appearance from the Nike x Off-White Air Max 90 alongside the Commes Des Garçons x NikeLab Air Vapormax, the excellent recent Nike Dunk collab from The Basement, and the Vans x Thrasher Sk8-Hi.
