The STONE ISLAND AW17 ICE JACKETS feature thermo-sensitive camo that changes with the temperature.

The Italian garment maestros have released a new video to demonstrate the latest innovation from their team of mad scientists. This season’s SI Check Grid Camo pattern has been applied to brushed cotton tela fabric in the form of a resin print, with the resulting fabric utilised for a popover half-zip jacket and a short trench coat with a detachable bomber jacket lining. At room temperature, both jackets appear to plain grey apart from the contrasting black trims and details. But when the temperature drops, hey presto: the grid camo pattern appears.
