SOUVENIR LINK UP WITH SNIPS FOR SOUVENIR SOUNDS VOL.1 PROJECT

SOUVENIR SOUNDS VOL.1 : London based imprint SOUVENIR links up with DJ & producer SNIPS on a collaborative project in celebration of his debut album ‘The Barbershop’ released on independent record label HOUSEOLOGY.

Snips digs deep in the crates to create a journey through an array of sounds and tempos that help connect the dots between true school Hip Hop and Classic House, creating a nostalgic yet contemporary sound which echoes the referential aesthetic of SOUVENIR.The project consists of a limited run of SOUVENIR SOUNDS T-shirts which feature a mixture of logo embroidery and print using signs, symbols and text from classic record covers and center labels, alongside the CHAMPARTT Souvenir Jacket which has been custom made for SNIPS. This hybrid piece brings together a Champion Reverse Weave hoody and traditional Carhartt Chore Jacket, emphasising the project’s connection between Detroit Motown and House with the East Coast Hip-Hop sound and aesthetic.
