Riccardo Tisci’s new collab collection of clothing and footwear was initially only available in North America, but luckily that’s all changing today. Fusing fashion, sport and mythological inspiration, the small but perfectly formed capsule range reinvents classic garments with an off-beat twist to create the uniform of Tisci’s imaginary team the Victorious Minotaurs. The standout items are the men’s and women’s army green Destroyer Jackets, which come embellished with zips, patches, pin badges, embroidery and a vibrant safety orange lining. Oxford shirts get a utilitarian update with a heavy zip pocket at the chest, a ‘techno wool’ sweater brings the cosiness, and your lower half is taken care of by the side-stripe track pants and the sportiest skirt we’ve ever seen. T-shirts come with the Victorious Minotaurs team logo or a co-branded Swoosh and R.T. print, while caps, beanies and arm sleeves round off the apparel collection. And then, of course, there are two new versions of Tisci’s favourite shoe, the iconic Air Force 1.
