Taking the idea of layering to its logical conclusion, this new apparel release consists of a shell jacket and a Tech Fleece liner that can be combined into one mighty element-defying monster when the weather turns foul. A clever interior strap system allows you to pack away the outer shell into the liner’s back pocket without taking it off. And when the rains starts up, the shell can be deployed again using the same straps, ready to protect you from the elements with its bonded seams and water-repellant DWR coating. Flywire cables built into the hood give it structure despite the ultralight fabric, and side openings on the outer shell allow you to access the liner jacket’s pockets beneath. A hidden interior pocket and subtle reflective accents finish off a phenomenal and extremely versatile jacket that will see you through the worst the winter has to offer.
