With the continuation of Nike’s Relationship with Errolson Hugh, it is clear to see his design DNA injected into the NIKELAB ACG HOLIDAY 2016 COLLECTION.
The new range of All Conditions Gear comprises apparel, accessories and footwear, all designed to combine comfort, versatility and weather protection. The outerwear offering is as impressive as always, featuring waterproof zips, additional pockets with unconventional placement and reflective branding hits for a forward-thinking range that still stays true to ACG’s long history (having been around since the early 1980’s, ACG is actually older than many of the people getting hyped to buy it). High collars, removable hoods and internal carry strap systems make for a versatile collection that is ideally suited for the changing conditions of the urban winter. The jackets are complemented by a selection of garms for your lower half which boast DWR (durable water repellent) coatings, adjustable drawcord closures and multiple pockets to keep you travelling hands-free. Tees, hoodies and tech fleece sweatshirts make up the mid-layer range, while the accessory offering consists of caps, balaclavas and the most technical take on the humble scarf that we’ve ever seen.
Rounding out the collection is a trio of teched-out trainers. The NIKE ACG ZOOM TALLAC FLYKNIT comes in three stark cold-weather colourways, its classic 2003 styling updated with the use of ultra-lightweight, weatherproof TPU-injected FlyKnit material which lifts this hiking-style hybrid head and shoulders above many clunkier winter footwear options. Flywire cables provide a secure fit, dual pull tabs make the boot easy to pull on and off, and a gusseted tongue will keep out the worst the weather can throw at you.
