NIKE X MATHEW WILLIAMS: TEASER IMAGES ARE HERE

Images for the upcoming NIKE X MATTHEW M. WILLIAMS collaboration have just appeared online.

Rumours of a partnership between MATTHEW M. WILLIAMS, the Italian designer behind ALYX and and the Beaverton behemoth NIKE have been floating around for a while so it’s exciting to see some teaser images go live ahead of the launch.

According to Williams, the collection was a fusion of data and design; using computational design and analyzed data regarding motion, heat and sweat zones to realise what he describes as the “future uniform of training”. He goes on to explain “what computational design and computer data can offer is really the future of design. It allows us to see things or take things further than we might otherwise. It helps to create a different perspective that we can build around. Working in tandem — with data and emotion — is super interesting.”
