American Inspired, Japanese made: The NEIGHBORHOOD FW17 COLLECTION has arrived, and it’s as good as ever.

Shinsuke Takizawa’s highly sought after label Neighborhood has been producing top quality contemporary streetwear since 1994. Spearheading the ‘Ura-Harajuku’ movement, Takizawa sought to re-discover various themes from classic Americana through the lens of Japanese ideals of quality form and functionality. The result was a brand that consistently references military, workwear, Native American and motorcycle silhouettes and detailing to create a modern yet familiar-feeling aesthetic.

With autumn fast approaching, the Neighborhood FW17 Collection revisits the Japanese imprint’s renowned styling with a range of utilitarian pieces ideal for the oncoming winter cold. This broad collection is split into four sections: Mil-Spec, Youth, Urban Garment and SVG, with a whole host of beautifully crafted pieces in a mainly olive green and black colour palette looking particularly steezy when accessorised with a Rottweiler.
