NEEDLES SS18 is here and it’s multicolour madness from the start…

Out of all the brands under the NEPANTHES umbrella, NEEDLES is certainly the most individual. Gaining recognition through it’s repurposed ‘ReBuild’ range, the Japanese masters of the obscure has cut a farrow that very few (if any) brands have been able to follow. Progressive garments that feel one step ahead whilst looking to the past are abound in what can only be described as an explosive collection with such a diverse range of reference the veers between Veitnam era militaria and Californian surf culture. Standing well out from the crowd are a range of ReBuild pieces constructed from tiedye jersey in mind bending myriad of colours as well as some highly detailed patterned pieces that vary from jacquard to hand embroidered embellishment. The popular track pants make an appearance, this time in a brushed poly fleece with muted colours and some heavy Japanese style denims. Despite being challenging in appearance, this offering is full of individuality, reference and style.
