Inspired by iconic garments from different cultures – Japanese kimonos and Western field and bomber jackets – the new Maharishi mash-up is one of the standout pieces from the UK brand’s winter collection. Eye-catching yet wearable (not to mention functional), the jacket combines the easy-wearing silhouette of a kimono with familiar military detailing such as utility pockets, quilting and ribbed cuffs. The army green nylon twill fabric looks like a classic vintage US bomber jacket, but it’s made in Japan. And the whole thing is finished off perfectly with a safety orange lining and warm, lightweight PrimaLoft insulation.
