Le Coq Sportif Molton Superieur Collection shot by The Rig Out

Le Coq Sportif showcase their roots in the heartland of the French textile industry with the new LE COQ SPORTIF MOLTON SUPERIEUR COLLECTION. 

In 2010 after a break of 128 years, Le Coq Sportif returned to its spiritual home of Romilly-sur-Seine, known for its craftsmanship in textiles. To showcase this the French brand release the Molton Superieur range, designed in their Romilly Atelier. The champion of this collection is the heavyweight interlock fabric sweat, weighing in at 460gsm in the navy blue corner – a great piece that must be seen in the flesh to be appreciated. The collection also includes 240gsm cotton tees which also utilise the interlock fabric which is so heavily associated with Le Coq Sportif’s roots. To showcase the collection in its homeland, The Rig Out have created a photoshoot that explores the realities of industrial decline and subsequent rebirth in the historic industrial town.
