Carhartt WIP’s brand ethos has always proudly been a work in progress, evolving classic American workwear designs into more contemporary fits, fabrics and functions, and for SS18 this tradition continues in earnest. Iconic archival silhouttes such as the chore coat and work pants are revisited in new vibrant colourways, alongside a variety of staple tees, sweats and shirts ideal for transitional seasonal layering. The poly-cotton fabric used on the classic Work Pant has been adapted into a variety of outerwear and overshirts, while military inspired pieces continue a strong presence throughout the range, utlising camouflage prints and ripstop fabrics reminiscent of some of Carhartt’s earliest designs.
