With a 100 year anniversary on the horizon in 2019, Champion have more than their fair share of heritage when it comes to sportswear. But far beyond the boundaries of the sports field, Champion have long been appropriated by a variety of sub cultures, no more so than in London’s very own SOHO, where local style tribes have integrated the iconic ‘little c’ patch into an everyday staple. This summer, Champion tease the opening of their first store in the heart of SOHO by commissioning a short film featuring local poet and spoken wordsmith James Massiah, whose incisive prose weaves through the centre of London, celebrating it’s diversity and defining features.
