Japanese cult brand Cav Empt are back at it again with more avant-garde, analogue-digital streetwear in the form of their new AW17 lookbook. Shot in a way not too dissimilar to street style images you’d find on your favourite blogs and interweb forums, it is clear that the direction for this collection is very much a commentary on the current ‘state of fashion’. In typical Cav Empt style, we see them go in on the outerwear selection, with some incredible oversized trench coats that could be mistaken for the staple piece of your local flasher’s wardrobe as well as some of the boldest pullovers and puffers I ever did see.
