The CARHARTT WIP x ISLE SKATEBOARDS capsule collection was one of those collaborations so ideal, it not only makes you appreciate the combination of the two entities but actually makes you rate each of the contributing bodies even more. Similar to appreciating Busta Rhymes when he was part of Leaders Of The New School; we all love Busta, and when he’s teamed with the rest of the boys it’s only going to go well.
Documenting this project is none other than Dan Magee, renowned for making the highest quality British based skateboarding videos from the late ’90s upwards in a patriotic style sans the racism. The resulting video maintains the high quality we’ve come to associate with all involved in the project, and is filmed across galleries ranging from Paris to Singapore right round back to London. The Isle graphics are continuing to get better and better, and after collaborating with the critically acclaimed Raphaël Zarka and a well-established brand like Carhartt WIP, we can’t wait to see what comes next from these UK independents.
