Two heavyweights combine on this BALENCIAGA X MR PORTER collaborative collection.

Iconic fashion house Balenciaga has made great strides into the world of hype under the stewardship of Demna Gvasalia, borrowing core streetwear principles of re-appropriation and re-formatting them for a high-fashion audience. Following hot on the heels of their collaborative capsule with New York based brand Noah, Mr Porter have teamed up with Balenciaga for their next project. In a statement regarding the collection, Gvasalia said “The exclusive collection for NET-A-PORTER and MR PORTER creates a complete wardrobe of Balenciaga styles known from previous seasons, we have redesigned this selection of styles for women and men in new and special fabrics and dedicated colors.” As a result, the collection features some of Balenciaga’s most well loved silhouettes, including the Triple-S sneaker, oversized hoodies and denim jacket.
