The AFEW GOODS DARUMA COLLECTION combines Japanese heritage design with the German sneaker store’s commitment to sustainability…
Deutsch sneaker retailer Afew’s sustainability-lead apparel label has enlisted Japanese illustrator Takumi Ogata for a small apparel capsule. Comprising two t-shirts, a hoodie and a made in Germany kimono – the collection centres around the traditional ‘Daruma’ doll, which represents perseverance and good fortune in Japanese culture. Designed by Ogata, the t-shirt features 24 separate dolls printed symmetrically onto the back with Afew Goods branding nestled subtly amongst the print. Reinforcing Afew’s commitment to sustainable sourcing, each item has been created using 100% GOTS certified organic cotton.
