ADIDAS Y-3 FW/17 ‘RECLAIMED BY NATURE’

The look book for ADIDAS Y-3 FW/17 has just been released and it’s another win for the tech-sport powerhouse.

Entitled ‘RECLAIMED BY NATURE’ the collection examines the relationship between nature and technology and sees the brand peel back to it’s true essence. Shot by Benjamin Alexander Huseby and styled by Jodie Barnes, the powerful images bring together nature and man made structures to reflect Yohji Yamamoto’s thoughts on the state of planet earth.

The now familiar Y-3 aesthetic sees form follow function with this intricate collection of outwear, jersey and accessories. A predominately muted colour palette, punctured with a vibrant emerald green hypercamo run seamlessly together to create a collection perfectly suited to an urban environment. Heavy duty jackets sit with bold trouser silhouettes in fabrications that not only look clean, but have a functional purpose too.
