ASAP FERG Just dropped the video for his new track ‘NANDOS’ and within we get the first look at the second instalment of the ADIDAS SKATEBOARDING X ASAP FERG collaboration.
Continuing the sports driven aesthetic of the last collection, the Hood Pope hits us with another strong round of items that include amongst others a Matchcourt shoe, colour blocked windcheater and ‘THLP’ football shirt.
Hitting all the right spots, this collection touches on the current fascination with retro sportswear that leans towards the 80’s with a distinct skate influence. The windcheater is a standout in strong primary colours that’s sits nicely with the jersey, track bottoms and tee.
Talking about the collection FERG states that the 2001 film ‘Children of the Underground’ was a strong influence, with many members of the cast rocking thrift store, miss matched clothing that reflects the DIY mentality that features so heavily today.
